Teacher Appreciation Gift

I wanted to do a little something for my sons teachers for teacher appreciation week, but it was being celebrated close to the end of the year when everyone is  asking for money for one thing or another.  Looking on Pinterest I can up with this.

I went to the Target Dollar section and got a pail, watering can note pad, seed identification stick.  Then I got a bag of Hershey kisses and a pack of seeds. Printed a cute saying "Thanks for helping me grow" and had my son sign his name.

Put it all together and it came out pretty cute.

This is one of the kid’s favorite meals.  You can make it with leftover chicken or even leave the chicken out.

Ingredients:
Grilled Chicken or Sautéed Chicken (in oil and garlic) cut into bite sized pieces
Egg Noodles
Spanish
Oil
Minced garlic
2 tablespoons butter
Package of feta cheese

Boil egg noodles according to package directions.  Drain and toss in 2 tablespoons butter, set aside.

Sauté spinach in oil and garlic.

Enjoy!

Spring is here.....

So now that my children have switched from winter sports to spring sports.  Basketball is still on our calendar as well as softball and soccer and always the year round TKD.  Stormer will be going to his first Tournament this weekend and it should be an adventure.

I am going to attempt to post some of my favorite recipes, but I am not as gifted at the step by step pictures as I have seen some others.

In the beginning....

I am a mother of 3 very active children.  My oldest is in 8th grade and her sport of the season is basketball.  The middle child is in 7th grade and her sport of the season is basketball too.  So of course it we make sense that they be on the same team, but nope one is on varsity and on is on junior varsity.  Oh, and they are also play in our church league and they are on different teams too.  The youngest is in 2nd grade.  His sport of the season is also basketball, but his year round sport is Taekwondo.  He is currently a probationary black belt.

I work part-time and somehow I still don't get home some days till after 5:30.  I don't know how parents that work full time do it.

This is my first attempt at a blog, so we will see how it goes..........
